okay so basically my life has been a complete fiasco for the past 2 days and will continue to be so for the next week and a half. not that i'm complaining. by the end of it all, i'll be done with classes at IU forever and I will have a full time position....however it hit me tonight around ohhhh 1 am (HEY! dont judge the hour! i fell asleep at 9 and totally messed up my sleep schedule for this evening... i know right? nbd). ANYWAY, it hit me around 1 am... I'm going to miss the chaos. The end of the semester, the constant stress, the 230942 group meetings, excessive starbucks at the social fest known as Well Library.... i'm going to be done with it in a week and a half for like EVERRR. WHATTTTTTTT!!!! now i cant tell you why i'm starting NOW to realize i'm going to miss it, but i am. and i'm not sure why, but i am. I know right, i'm getting tots sentimental. APOLOGIES! i'm a hott mess.
THEREFORE I've determined in no particular order, the top ten things that i will miss about Bloomington.....
- Campus....okay lets not kid ourselves, literally its the most beautiful place in the summer, and even in the winter with the limestone all glisten-y from the snow and what not. im so corny. but SERIOUSLY! its so gorg!
- Little 5 - yeah, i dont need to explain this one... Bill Armstrong Stadium = <3
- Kilroys - i mean, i'm going to name my dog kilroy....but honestly, so many memories.
- the HPER building and room 133 - oh you run down piece of crap... you have my heart. you and your vomit colored bathrooms, your INSANELY too small of a library, your constant smell of sweat and chlorine wafting in from various parts of the building. i'll miss the heating being on in the summer, and the a/c on in the winter. i will miss the workout area also known as a rat hole that hasnt been renovated since the 80's. i'll miss you guido beefcakes walking around like you own the place in your cut offs while i snicker quietly to myself. OH and room 133 (office of parks recreation and tourism), oh 133, i will miss your narrow hallway and dim lights, i'll miss you nice but often hard to understand asian grad student that schedules my appointments, and i will miss you excessive paperwork stand that is awkwardly placed right by the door that constantly get knocks over and Bryce the assistant ends up throwing a fit, and picking everything up, only for the entire scenario to repeat itself the next day. i will miss it all.
- The social fest known as Wells Library - West tower - 4th floor study..... if youre feeling blue, and need to run into someone and chat about something totally worthless, guarenteed you will find someone you know. or if youre me...12. sorry for being popular.
- Laughing Planet - Mad props to abbie for introducing me, i will never have a better more eco-friendly tree hugger burrito anywhere.
- Free Software - getting photoshop, or all this other crap that we have online for free because IU gets sweat deals with adobe...Baaaallliiiinnnn, next time i pay for excel its going to be like 22304932 dollars. great.
- Sink the Biz -yeah iu grads are everywhere, but seriously people dont appreciate, unless they know. and in order to enjoy it anytime i want, nicks is charging highway robbery of 40 dollars. COME ON!
- Kirkwood - whether it be a summers day and sitting on the patio at kok or the deck at jungle room, or watching some girl get sick in the alley that night while out. it has its charms and sample gates just tops it off.
- Course evaluations - there's no logic to this one, i'm just a freak and enjoy them.
So there you have it folks, whether its very original or not is a different story, but you cant deny the magic.
Onto other news, so michelle switched our cable over to AT&T U-verse, well she switched it for her and amanda because i have no time left. Apparently its like a dollar difference from what we were paying for comcast and each room gets a dvr box. its tots nice. i recommend to all that you get it. because comcast is crap.
alright well i'm going back to my study guide making. I figured if i'm going to be awake I may as well do something useful!
