Oh hellooooo!
So big news on the jobfront, they actually SWITCHEROO-ed, the hotel i'm working at. Dont ask me, I dont know why, these things just happen. So now i'm working in a city/town/village on the edge of the lake called Benton Harbour. However, apparently benton is a wee bit... shall i say... hood, or ghetto, if you will. THEREFORE, i will be commuting everday from South Bend! HOLLA! I get to stay a hoosier! And i get to participate in Notre Dame Tailgate, glory be.This also cuts my drive time back to indy by about 2 hours. Which is always music to my ears....
I'm very enthused about this as well, since our dear friend Cristy... met via oh hey rey rey hey Lauren, is already living and working up there herself! THANK GOD. This makes me feel much better about the whole "making friends" dilemma....anyway, my start date is January the 11th, i actually negotiated for a whole extra week, thank you, go meyer, i rule! I will be heading up north for some apartment hunting around the holiday time and could not be more excited about it! My requirement list is not that bad actually either: indoor pool, spacious 2 car garage, doorman/concierge service, 5 star workout facility, onsite puppy day care...etc.
Alright moving on, its my last 2 days of school like ever. I'm tots pumped.
Some SUPER exciting family news happened, but i'm not sure if i'm allowed to (as sarah mcvey so politely puts it) "BROADCAST" this information yet, so I have to wait till i get the green light.
Next, and more importantly we have a serious problem on our hands. Emmy, our cat, is a puking machiene. Now i know this isnt the most delicate of conversations, but as of right now the carpets are taking a beating. So if anyone has any tips on reasons WHY she may not be getting along with her food, please report back via the comment section.
Lastly its been a long time coming, but i finally took out my cartiledge piercing. I figured it was time. Mom i know youre so proud. These are the small things i'm not looking forward to changing. Granted when do i ever like changes. Absolutely never. I hate change. I'm one of those homebody, stay the same, type of girls. At least when it comes to the stuff that affects me directly. Kapeeeesh? Great talk, feel like we're closer.
Alright you gum drops! Sorry this was a scatterbrained, less enthused entry. My 3 finals are looming over my head and my dear friend anxiety has set up camp. However come wednesday afternoon I'll be back to normal!
Leaving you with my favorite picture of andy all time, this is him post wisdom teeth removal, and its a guarenteed laugh!

The pix of post-pull Andy is hilarious! Bets, I'm not worried....sort of. Can't believe the wonderful add-on to the family. Most painless child I've ever had. Thanks, Laur!
ReplyDeleteSheesh Mom! Good thing I had given the "GREEN LIGHT!" Honestly, if you're officially entering the blogging world, you have to know there are rules!
ReplyDeleteAnd, of course. You're welcome. ;)
