Its all happening like a friggin hurricane

Well, to say that I am busy would be a mild understatement. Not only is it the holiday season and there's that regular craziness of present buying, decorating, wrapping, cleaning..etc. but i'm also, oh, having to find an apartment, find a new car, be approved for both (Sweet life this credit thing is), move out of my old place, organize and pack up my life, learn what the heck my benefits are, make a stupid budget (can you tell i'm resisting being an adult here?) work at pottery barn, oh and manage to keep my sanity. And considering its me, this is all no easy task.

Anyway, and as if the fates knew it was all coming, the green bean officially died today (ah yes so convienent seeing as I had not yet figured out the stuff with the new car). It was very sad, that poor piece of crap had 85,000 miles on it and a boat load of memories. It served me well through all of college, with its broken cd player, shotty heating, back windshield wiper that didnt work, noisy engine, and tires that would always go flat. That car was loved. Hopefully it can now rest in peace in car heaven with wave the windstar.

Today is my first day at Pottery Barn, despite my stress I have to whip out my sales smile and try and move some dishes. I of course have no idea about any of the inventory, but hey! Thats okay, I can be awed right there along with the customer. My hope is that I can just sit there and check people out the entire time. Oh well, just cross your fingers for me! Maybe now that i'm driving Tappys sweet buick it will bring me luck with the older crowd. I can just get stuck with old people all night who dont care about waiting because, i mean, its not like they have anything else going on. God bless em.

Okay kids, sorry for the lack of posting, life has been total insanity. I will be back on top of my game once a few things settle down. Till then, i'm leaving you with a sweet photo of the dinosaurs outside of the childrens museum. I took it on my phone like two summers ago, and it always brings me joy! Ah yester-year.

xoxo - bill
