oh snow, you were with us for a mere 5 hours...

Okay! And here we go folks! First snow of the season. fantastic! It lasted for less that 10 hours before being totally melted away (at least in btown its gone...). two words: BUZZ KILL. oh well, nothing can top the SUHWEET hour and a half it took for me to literally get from my house to 465 today. I mean, SERIOUSLY? I left at 7:35 am and got onto 69 to get onto 465 at 9:08. Yes these are exact times, dont question me. What is it with people driving 2 miles an hour during the first snow (Abbie will concur with me on this), and slowing the ENTIRE highway down....ugh. anyway, i did finally make it and am now back in bloomington, praise Jesus!

but naturally i have left half my crap at home. fantastic. (mad props to sister LK for "MEETING ME HAAALFWAYYY, RIGHT AT THE BOARDERLINE"...no? black eyed peas? anyone? ....its a song mom)

However there is an upside to my day, Chronicals of Narnia: The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe is on tv, and is making for a lovely background buzzing while i go over powerpoints (And take a break to write this riviting blog of course).

Had the pottery barn training this weekend, at least the cashier portion. OKAY so here's a question for everyone, have you ever encountered people that are like LITERALLY ten years older than you, and they act so immature that its actually uncomfortable for you to be around, and you want to shut them up or run and hide because you feel so embarrassed for them? Well that was my lovely experience during this cashier training. 2 dudes, that were literally in their 30's, were acting a fool and basically making themselves look like total idiots. It was seriously painful to be around. They'd chime in with their little anecdotes throughout the training about jobs past, apparently they had worked together at some other point...weird...anyway, and they definitely made the training tots uncomfortable and awk for everyone else involved. SO, here's my thanks to you chatty older dudes, thanks for being weirdos.


alright. well thats enough ranting for now. update on the poll, we have a Toy Poodle with a big lead of 6 votes, with hijacking ross and emmy in with 2, and the long haired dachshund rounding out the top 3, with 1 vote.
